2013 wrap up – Everett Bay Lodge on Lake Vermilion
We are in the midst of putting the "finishing touches" on the 2013 resort season. While we certainly enjoyed the company of our "regular" guests who make each season great, we were happy to welcome a good number of returning guests who had missed a few years, but found their way back up north to enjoy beautiful Lake Vermilion. We are truly blessed to have so many wonderful customers and appreciate your business. The stubborn [...]
Emil Iverson (MN Gophers & Chicago Blackhawks Coach) @ Everett Bay Lodge
While we have been fortunate to have had many great and talented hockey coaches here at the resort with us over the years, and we always enjoy sitting around the fire or pool hearing about the previous season and next year's hopes, here is a little history for you hockey junkies out there! Lake Vermilion Fishing Report – Sept. 22, 2013
In addition to this week's Muskie action reported on the previous post, this bite was more of the same. "Eater" walleyes and some bigger ones. Along the same lines, the Wagner crew spent 3 days fishing Lake Vermilion and part of their [...]
Lake Vermilion Fishing Report – September 18, 2013

Cloud cover and a.m. or evening windows have been the most productive, with our guests doing best on crawlers. While the Hodgins have caught and released a good number of fish in the slot range, they have also caught the makings of a nice fish fry too. The Manners crew spent their usual long weekend, and had [...]
Lake Vermilion Fishing Report – September 10, 2013
Not much change since the past week. Walleyes are still in intermediate depths, mainly 18 - 24 feet, either rock or sand/mud bottom. However, one group this week is doing well even shallower, mainly 15 feet. Many report finding fish on almost any main lake structure, but it is a matter of sorting out which spots are holding the bigger fish. Last week there was plenty of golf and sightseeing in the mix for guests, [...]
