2017 season winds down for us on Lake Vermilion as we are wrapping up the winterizing of cabins, pulling docks and storing boats. Plenty of Lake Vermilion bass action helped pick up the slack for the less consistent walleye bite last week. We were able to sneak out Monday after dinner and kept 7 for Tuesday's dinner, and while a handful of guests did just fine catching their limits of walleyes, others seemed to struggle.
