There were plenty of good size walleyes in the traps. In the video below, walleyes are being sorted. "Ripe" or "ready" ones go to the green bin, while those needing a little more time are sent down the white chute for another day.

Lots of limits of eater walleyes were caught on Lake Vermilion as the end of September approaches. Toss in the "too big to keep" fish that were released and overall it was a pretty decent week for many of our guests.
