Lake Vermilion Ice out 2015 goes in the books as April 18th. Good thing the winds were strong those last couple days as it finished the ice off before a cold snap came our direction. Fortunately the 10 day forecast gets much better after Thursday, and it looks like smooth sailing from there on out. Delighted to be taking calls from people who are booking cabins vs. just inquiring as to when we think the ice will be off like last year at this time!! So, one dock in – several to go. One cabin ready – several to go. You get the idea. Plenty to do, but it sure is nice out here when the sun is shining, the birds are singing and the phone is ringing.
