The weather has turned cooler the last
several days with highs in the 60's. The water temps have
probably peaked and the walleyes are biting. The lake has
dropped about a foot the past month and we need rain badly
again this year. Consistent fish have been caught on
crawlers and crankbaits. Many smallmouth have been caught on
cranks as well.
Last week Dan Winter boated four
muskies a 37,51, 46, 46 1/2, and he saw many fish. This was
Dan's first trip on the lake.
