Sometimes this lake may seem like the
fish have too much to eat. But just wait a while and things
will pick up in just days. Walleyes have started to hit
crawlers and crankbaits. Big fish continue to be caught in
the 20-28 inch range. Mostly in 12-18 feet.
Smallmouth fishing has improved.
Jerkbaits and leeches work well on windy points.
Bluegills on wax worms or worms have
remained excellent in fairly shallow water. The water temps
are now close to 70 degrees.
Saw some muskie following to the boat
last evening. They've started to move a little.
