The rain has continued to increase the
level of the lake. We have high water. For some reason, high
water seems to translate into a good bite. Walleye have
moved to hitting leeches. Many fish have been released in
the 20-29 inch range this past week. Bass have been going
crazy on leeches as well all week.
Northern have hit silver spinners real
well. Muskies have hit crankbaits this week for those that
have paid their dues.
Bluegills have been excellent on sunny
days with worms. It's supposed to be in the eighties over
the next few days. The pool will be waiting.
