It looks like the forecast is for milder
temperatures over the next several days. So the bite should
pick up and be steadier for the rest of the season. The
water is currently in the mid seventies.
This past week the walleye started to hit
crankbaits pretty well. Steve Bahr caught a 21.5". Cliff
Wagenbach from Cliff's Guide Service did real well on summer
reefs. Each day he managed 30 - 50 walleyes with our guests
over a couple of days this past week.
Randy Usher caught two nice fish a 38"
northern and a 43" muskie. Ted Drag and his brother Ron
caught four musky. Ted had a 34, 40 and a 43. Ron had a 41.
Roger Drewelow boated a 40.
May your pole always be bent! Dave
