Guess what? It's raining. But,
nonetheless last week was the best week of fishing so far.
The Custer's and the Drake's caught big walleye. Brian
Custer boated two muskie, 45,46. Derek Drake(12 yrs.) caught
a 24" walleye and his younger brother David(10 yrs.) caught
a 23" walleye. Mark Custer boated a 40" northern. Maurice
Iubatti caught a 21 walleye and had a big muskie on at the
boat, and Warren Eck caught a 22" walleye. Jason Blevins
caught a 19" largemouth and Paul Frisella, Nick Cade, Chuck
O'Rourke each caught 18" smallmouth. Whew what a week.
The water temps have been in the high
sixties the last two days. The temperatures have been mild
but it has been wet. Nice bluegills have been caught lately
right before they start to spawn. They are delicious.
