After having a very wet start to the
fishing season this week has been the best. The water temps
have started to move into the sixties. The fishing has been
pretty good. Walleye have been eating minnows in 18 -35 ft.
of water. The smallies are
setting up on their beds as expected. The muskie have been
seen regularly. Northern are being caught in the weeds.
Seems like the perch are really large this year. Some are
almost 13".
The pool is open, and it has
gotten regular use this week with the temperatures
approaching 80.
May your pole always be bent! Dave
