This past week held two personal best's
at the lodge. On Tuesday I managed to boat a 52.5" muskie.
Later that evening Diane boated her first muskie a 47". Not
a bad start. Check out our recent photos to see both fish.
Tyler O'Neil boated a 44" northern on Sunday and Ed O'Neil,
Tyler's dad, boated a 49 inch muskie on Wednesday morning.
Rob Lowth boated a 33" and lost a couple of big fish that
broke him off. It was a fairly active week.
Rob Lowth also caught several smallies
and walleye pitching cranks in shallow rocks most of the
week. Walleye action has been tough this past week. No
discernable pattern. See fish one day, catch a few, then you
won't see them the next day. Smallies are being caught off
shallow rocks.
Keep on fishin! Dave
