The Muskie action got better this past
week after the weather cooled down. Six fish were boated
Thursday and six were boated Friday. For the week we had 28
muskies boated. Twenty of them were over 40 inches. Jim
Carow boated a 37" tiger muskie during the week. Mike
Mealman boated the largest a 49 1/2. The list of fish looks

The walleye action was
slower during midweek. Russ Williams caught a 22" walleye
late in the week. Dale Seaberg caught a 36" northern in the
weeds. Not much smallie action to report. The smallies
should be holding off rocky points in a little deeper
water (post spawn).
