Walleye's are right on schedule out on main
lake humps and coves. Crankbaits and rigs with a crawler
or a leech have been catching fish. John Herd caught a
25" walleye drifting on a crawler rig. Two twenty
inch fish were caught be Jim Lockard and Mike Seng last
week. My aunt and uncle did well with rigs and leeches and
crawlers in 14 ft of water. Check out the recent photos
section. 25 caught, 12 kept.
Smallmouth bass continue to be caught off rock spines.
Sometimes in big numbers. Mike Seng had a great day Friday
off an island spine close by.
Last week started well with some muskie action but got
tough as the week progressed. Nick Kretchmer caught two
northern, one 33 and one 36 that were fun. John Granko had
