Harlan VanWyhe caught a
28" walleye on a leech in about 25 ft. of water this
week. A sister to a 29 incher he boated two years ago.
Sally Dukes and Jeff Udchitz each caught 24" walleye
and can be seen in our recent photos section of our
website. Walleye have been caught shallow and deep.
Several limits have been caught during the evening on
minnows and leeches.
Bass have been easy to catch this week as the spawn
continues. Joe Graczyk caught a 20" bass in the bay
along with several northern. The fish hit a Jitterbug.

Muskie have been seen regularly in shallow water. Opener
is Saturday. We're looking forward to reporting some big
giants and catching a few as well. Dave
